NIALL'S FIRST RESTAURANT IN STOKE ON TRENT, BRINGING FINE-DINING TO HIS HOME COUNTY OF STAFFORDSHIRE.
Lunar by Niall Keating is a modern dining experience housed on the World of Wedgwood visitor attraction site, where the age-old British pottery business first took shape in the mid 18th Century.
The restaurant's concept - from its food and drink to the artists and music that have shaped it - takes reference from the exemplary thinking that took place by the Lunar Society in the 1770s.
This organisation was founded by Josiah Wedgwood amongst others and brought together entrepreneurs, scientists, poets and inventors in an enlightenment movement that sought to advance science, manufacturing and social reform.
The menu is based on sustainable, seasonal, and local principles inspired by a fusion of Japanese, Korean and French cuisines. Guests can enjoy their meals in a dining room under the light of a 3m diameter life-like moon, accompanied by an expansive wine and cocktail list and surrounded by Wedgwood ceramics.
